The skinny on the new Source License
A new license is being introduced to our users. Currently, users have the option of purchasing a "site" license which allows you to use The Pubb on a single website. The "server" license allows you to use The Pubb on as many websites as you can fit onto a single webserver.
This new license is going to be referred to as the "source" license. The source license is the exact same as the "server" license with one major difference: the source code is provided to you in unencrypted form. This new license allows you to make customizations that are not in the immediate future of The Pubb, to better meet your client's needs. It also allows you to better integrate The Pubb into your site.
With a new license like this, a new licensing agreement is required. That new license agreement can be found here.
The source code is fully commented, and (limited) support is available for customers in the modification of their code. The source license grants you full access to the entire codebase of The Pubb with one exception: The source code for the serial validation will be removed from the source code, as that is not part of "The Pubb" but rather a pirating protection device from unauthorized use of The Pubb.
So, how does this work? Read the Source FAQ.
