Features being coded (includes features for next few versions):
- Localization!
- All text in The Pubb (that's not currently located in a skin (in order to keep skin compatibilities)) will be moved to a single localization file.
- This way, our administrators of non-English speaking websites can change error messages and the instructions to their native toungue.
- NOTE: English will be the only localization file initially released. We will try running our localization file through some translators, but we cannot vouch for accurate results. Translation is left as a task for the administrator.
- Thread Movement for moderators: moderators will be able to move a thread to a different forum, instead of just closing the thread.
- Private Messaging - Users can send other users private messages that they can view the next time they login to the site
- Auto-increase level support. Administrators can set threshholds for the number of posts a user must have to get their level auto-increased.
- Pubb Code - (Webcat 4.x only). Servers running Webcat 4.x or above (due to it's grepping feature) can make use of this. Pubb code will allow users to bold, italicize, link, etc.., without actually using HTML tags
- Moderator approved postings - ability to make a forum completely moderated so that posts can only be seen pending a moderator's approval.
- View how many times a topic has been read
- Admin messages - Admin can post a message that will be a link viewable globally on all pages for users.
- Simpler interface for administrators and moderators to delete, open and close threads (as well as move).
- Banning of users from registering/posting on e-mail domain and IP levels
- Allow a forum to be hidden from view and access, but all messages remain in tact.
- Admin option to keep track of and display the number of views of a thread
This feature set may change slightly. If for anything, most likely to include even more features.
Bugs Being Fixed:
- There are currently no known bugs
